Using the Trail Reviews Phorum

This phorum is a repository of information and experiences on Missouri hiking trails. To see reviews of a particular trail, just click on the trail. Click on Trail List in the Goto menu to return to the list of trails.
Using the information. To use the information, just click on a trail. This will display others' comments on the trail, along with links to photo albums. You can also browse all photo albums at [mohiking.com]. To return to the list of trails, just click on Trail List in the Goto bar at the top.
Adding information. This site will only be useful if lots of people add their own information here. Post-hike reports on the general flow of the trail, specific trail conditions, availability of facilities, and other issues of importance to hikers are welcome.
To add a review, first check whether the trail already exists on the list. If it does, add your review by opening the trail and posting a reply at the bottom. If it doesn't, create a new topic. You must be a registered user to post reviews. Your registration information will not be passed on to anybody else, but it allows us to contact you if we need clarification of something in your post.
HTML is not allowed in Phorum postings. However, they have their own special codes for a few things. Codes have a begin and end tag, and are put in brackets. For example: [B]this[/B] is how you would display something in bold. Here's the codes:
B: Bold
I: Italic
U: Underline
C: Center
IMG: Link to an image
URL: Link to a page (can also be enclosed in <> )
Displaying photo albums. We also provide hosting for photo albums. It's on the same server, but in different software. To enter the photo gallery, just click on Photos in the menu at the top of this screen. You can see all the albums there. Most albums are also linked from somewhere in the forums. Adding photo albums. The photo album software does not, so far as I can tell, allow for self-registration and moderation of photos. You can zip them and e-mail them to me, or if you're a bit tech savvy, you can FTP them to me as well - just send me a private message (it's in the Goto menu at the top) and ask for FTP login info.
Finally, a note to spammers: This is a moderated forum, so your review won't appear until somebody has approved it. So don't bother posting spam, it will be deleted before anyone sees it and your account will be removed.
